This is gonna be tough, but let me try.

Colours:
 Purples, Greens and bright shades of blue and yellow/orange.
:x Browns usually get me bored fast.

Threads
 Anchor and DMC.
:x Metallics in general.

Fabric
 Aida - 14ct (love how Jobelan feels but am working on evenweave for the first time since the 80's so am not familiar with it yet enough to really enjoy it)
:x Linen

Patterns
 Fantasy, country stuff, cats among many others.
:x Most lifelike portraits of people (some are great though), most floral table runners (a lot of those patterns look very dated to me) and religious designs.

Kits
 Dimensions make fantastic kits, like their beach stuff, wizards, country designs, etc.
:x Kits with printed designs on the fabric, especially those where some of the fabric is printed to be covered in stitches and the rest to remain just painted.

Things I would like to try - Working with different threads like silks, and getting used to evenweave as some of my projects would look much better on it. HAED designs (got a small start on it).

Ok I shall give this a go...

Favorite colour:

Threads:
DMC. and I strongly dislike metallics

Fabric:
14ct aida, light colours only

Patterns:
buildings. abstract designs, transport, people, AOY and blackwork

No desire to try anything new as happy with doing my XXXX's and it took me 57 years to get around to doing them so I'm still learning. :-o

What a neat thread. Here's my 2 cents worth.

My favorite color? All of them...really, I've seen designs that have many colors & I just don't like getting stuck on a single shade for too very long (if that makes any sense?)

Threads:
:) DMC
:( metallics

Fabric:
:) any Aida
:? Evenweaves!

Kits or charts? I like to do either. Charts are fun to "kit up" but then kits are nice because it's all included.

Styles I like: Religeous, funny animals, inspirational.

Styles I don't like: Fantasy, modern art.

eta: In going back & reading everyone elses likes/dislikes, I have to agree that I dislike stamped kits & my dislike of metallics is limited to the one I know (read in a gridding thread about using sulky silver to grid with....am trying it with limited success, purly due to my inexperience, I'm sure)

I'm new here and just found this!

Favorite Colors:
haven't met a color I don't like! Love bold colors like jewel tones and earthy colors like blues, browns, purples, dark greens.

Thread: I usually use DMC and like it. Have a few Anchor.
:? Costs and Clark variagated.

Fabric:
:P. Aids 16 count and up. I usually use 18 count.
Would love to use an even weave or try linen.

Kits:
I do use them and like some. Dimensions have been pretty good for me but I'm getting a bit frustrated with the partial stitches.
I don't have tons of charts but am always on the lookout for them!

General likes:
fairies, dragons, Tatty Teddy

General likes:
fantasy, fairies, dragons, Celtic, zodiac sign especially Aquarius, wolves, Native American, sea life, manatees, Santa, biscornu

Dislikes:
Pre printed fabric, religious, florals that look really old, cat themes (though I have done cat stuff for friends), extremely primitive.

Favorite Color: Definitely Purple. I like almost every color though

Thread: I use DMC almost exclusively because anything else is hard to find around here and I don't have the patience to wait for things to come in the mail.

Fabric: aida

Patterns: I love Noah's Ark Desgns and holiday or seasonal stuff.

I don't have any preferences for thread and fabric yet (other than I prefer DMC in general). As I try more things, that may change.

Charts and kits: I like unique charts, and I tend to stay away from traditional fantasy or very conservative type things.

Colors: I love vibrant colors, though I appreciate a good neutral now and then. Really depends on what I'm working on.

Other: I know this is blasphemous, but I really don't like sparkly things all that much...

Basically, this would not help anyone narrow down what I like/dislike. :P
