Yep I've definitely settled in easily!!
Rae has had some fiddly stuff done (just been working on the black outline of the hair) its about the biggest solid colour block that I can do at the moment.

Might manage a full pic in next couple of days, we found one camera :applesauce: (but its not mine :? )

Lovely progress. Enjoy the 3 months stitching time - that sounds like heaven :D . She'll come along so quickly now.

I just borrowed the camera so heres the next update pic

Image

not a whole lot done, mainly just black outline in her hair. I've almost finished all the black on that page, hoping to get some of the colour on the right hand side in tonight now I know where it has to go
:D

that one might make it easier to zoom in.

Oh dear, I was just about to say it looks like it's really taking shape now as well!

At least your bad bit is out on its own, and you've realised before it would have made the whole picture go wrong!

yeah i've taken a night of off her, did nothing but watch tv, will get up tomorrow and unpick. I only realised the mistake cos I went to fill in the next bit of black and I had 2 places where it was 'supposed' to start.

Well after the visit from mr :ribbit: last week i kinda lost my stitchy bug for Rae for a while. Instead i went through my list and bought the rest of the colours i was missing for her (about 15) and sorted everything so i now have a HAED box much easier knowing i have every colour sorted and organised.

Was just getting back into her and then have had a rough time personally leaving me emotionally and physically exhausted meaning no stitching

but tonight i sat down and finished the skin toning on her lower face and lips

Image

this part actually looks heaps better in the photo in real life they are shades of grey, black & brown and red/pink I think i counted something like 22 colours within 50 stitches took over an hr to stitch them

and a couple of pics of the whole thing
i've been working on her face, filling in shades on her arm and portions by the tail along with random parts of hair. I can't spend a long time on the hair because it is confetti heaven and i'm rather easily frustrated at the moment.

Image

I have next few days free so stay tuned for another update in next week (hopefully)
I aim to get her eye/top of head done but there is so much confetti I just couldn't face it after doing the lips tonight, but the effect is worth it.
