Good way of motivating yourself, doing the big blocks of colour in between the more interesting bits! She's looking great, I like the colourful effect of that holly (?) trim on her skirt

Thought you might like to see an update on the Mayflower Landing sampler. I've managed to do quite a bit on it now I've finished my Christmas stitching, and I should get it done fairly soon. It's an easy enough stitch, just the contrast I need against the Angel.

The linen has distorted horribly on the frame, as you can see (plus the photo is also skewy which doesn't help), I'm hoping I can pull it back to shape later.

It should pull into shape no problem -- and it's lovely to see this one again, such a beautiful trraditional feel to it!

I've always wondered why the fabric does that? :thinks:

Regardless though, it's stitching up lovely and you should be able to pull it back into shape once finished :applesauce: :applesauce:
