It's probably both, Mabel! It's very nice not to have to worry about changes in color (unlike the HAED!) and a lot of this design is very symmetrical, so once I do part of it the rest is pretty easy.
Was hoping to have another update but had several bad miscounts in the center circle so had to frog quite a bit

The pattern reminds me of those colouring in pattern books made up of lots of overlapping circles, not sure if anyone else ever had them?!
What a beautiful project - I've really enjoyed catching up with it this morning. I love the fabric and the floss colour. Is Carrie's Creations nice to work with?
