Oh it looks beautiful.

Have you thought of satin DMC as a substitute. I was just at the store yesterday to get another 321 and I say the most beautiful satins so I go 3. They are S415 silver(30415) ,S676 gold (30676) ,S738 lighter gold (30738) they have change to an S rather then the 30000 series to identify the satins I noticed. I know that satin can be a challenge to work with but the shine these give off are fantastic. Just a thought, don't want to mix up your stitching ideas. But we are rather good at throwing in our 2 cents just to shake things up once in awhile. :D

It´s great to get all your different sugestions. But in our town no one sales such stuff, no Kreinik, no silks, only DMC regular and a very few DMC with sparklies. I know I could order them, but I dont want that because I cannot really tell what shade of color a floss is, only by looking on the monitor. ( And sadly I dont have enough money to buy floss when I´m not sure I will use it  )

The DMC 5272 I have found by cross stitch corner under this: DMC-E5200 (E5272) .
Do you know this Mabel ?

@ Rose, I would love to try out silks some day, they must be beautiful!

Wow, you have done a lot since I last saw this. Fantastic colouring in this one! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

I am really curious now to see your sparklie thread :)

It was a rather exhausting week, firstly my daughter was sick and then I felt myself too really bad.
That maybe was also the reason for a lovely visit from mister :anotherfrog: , I had to rip out about 200 stitches!
But today I finally got to the star and the sparkling thread. I couldn´t resist and ordered Kreinik Blending Filament. It looks really lovely and sparkles far more than the DMC!
I try to get a bit more of it done tonight, so I can post a piccie tomorrow.
