So I just have one more colour to do on her first wing and then that's finished. I can have another day of happy easy stitching. I also went back and filled in the little spots of colour on the first part of her wing with scrap threads.
This method really does make it so much easier to get through her wings. I look foreward to being able to do the regular stitching so I push through the hard stitching rather than becoming overwhealmed.
Oh, absolutely Dammetje.. They're really frustrating and really hard work, but they look really really good and that more than makes up for it. I think Lynn will love the overall effect, even if she doesn't know how mean those wings have been to me. I'm not a fan of kreinik threads, and this filament has snapped on more than one occassion so far.
Owch, I can imagine, Faith. But it looks spectacular. The price we pay I guess.
Just caught up with this one. You're getting on well with it angel. I couldn't help but think her wings looked a bit strange when I was looking at it, but now I've looked back at the original, I realised why! She has a double set.
There's nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with CHOCOLATE! Forget love! I'd rather fall in CHOCOLATE!
