Re: Charlie's Falling Star (Charlie's Ark) (Prog pics: 15/01/10)
Well, the week of the 21st starts the week I work on cards - I have pledged to do one Xmas card each month, so there's less of a rush come December, and I have a Valentine's card to stitch and my ATC to get started, so I'll be putting Charlie aside again for another week. I'm loathe to start stitching Charlie himself and then have to put him aside, so I will finish stitching the faling star's rainbow and then start work on the "Charlie's Ark" lettering and rainbow in the bottom left corner tonight, and then put him aside till the 28th.

Oh no! I was so excited to see him appear as well.
Ah well, at least it's something to look forward to and as for the rest of the design, it's all looking great!

Love seeing the "outline" appear -- you've done an Assisi Charlie
!
I greatly admire how organised and disciplined you are, setting apart certain weeks for certain projects, AND sticking to it!!!

Re: Charlie's Falling Star (Charlie's Ark) (Prog pics: 18/01/10)
Well, I'm certainly sticking to it for THIS month - let's see how long it lasts though - LOL!
My monthly titching schedule at present looks like this:
* 1st – 7th of each month: UFO week
* 8th – 14th of each month: Biscornu week
* 15th – 21st of each month: Whatever takes my fancy
* 22nd – 28th of each month: Xmas card week
* Remaining days of each month: Whatever takes my fancy
Of course, if I have time left over on the UFO week, biscornu week or card week after I've done the stitching I set out to do during that time, I can pick up another piece to work on.
As I finished my three letters on my afghan in UFO week with a couple of days to spare, I started my biscornu a little earlier and finished it off too. I was then able to do the bookmark for a stitch-along and then pick up Charlie again.
Because I basically have 3 cards to stitch during this month's card week, I'm pleased to start it a day early, and might actually end up carrying over onto the last 3 days of the month, meaning Charlie would have to wait till the middle of February to appear.

This is such a fantastic pattern just love to see your progress. I understand trying to stay on track with your other stitching though.

If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror

Charlie comes back into rotation for a week as of tomorrow - hurrah! I shall finally begin to stitch Charlie himself, so I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in. He'll be my evening stitching project for the whole week.
