When my head starts to get too big, I take a look at your work, and my head deflates back to normal. This looks gorgeous. I might learn Hardanger work early next year.

This is beautiful! I love the shiny, silky look of the satin stitch shapes - they draw my eye right in!

Finished all the bands - well almost! I got to this stage a couple of days ago and if you look closely you'll see I ran out of pink thread for the backstitched outer border 
I emailed the designer, Judy Dixon, earlier this week asking if she could possibly send me a strand or two of the missing floss - and it arrived the the very following morning!!! So although I haven't got a photograph yet, the border is now complete and I've started on the cutwork this morning. Although it doesn't look it in the photo, the border is straight really
