Sorry folks been MIA for a wee while - had a couple of weeks off but back in stitching mode.

Tonight I completed my 7th full page - I have actually stitched 7 1/2 pages will be 8 when I finally complete the 40 x 288 stitch band of white at the left edge which appears to be endless! The rest of the stitching is much more appealing than the endless white so I am dotting back to it every few hours and doing a few more lines.

Will post a picture soon - camera on charge

Hey Folks,
Apologies for the delay, had a very hard couple of weeks with a desperatly ill close relative who has passed away.
I am on here to take my mind off things really so have posted an update.
Image
I have still not finished the band of white at the left edge but am getting there. As you can see in the picture I have reached the bottom edge and have also done approx 60% of page 3 and 30% of page 10.

My condolences on your loss.

This piece gets more and more intriguing every time I see it. Great stitching. I may have to buy this for myself and stitch her without wings.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, it must be very hard for you at the moment.

Your stitching is coming along beautifully though - such a striking piece out of so few colours.

Thanks for your messages they are very much appreciated xx

Mig - I have considered more than once leaving the wings off - one of the reasons I am stitching in full columns - I will decide when I get there. It would appear this would be very easy to do and would still leave a stunning picture of a decent size.
