I was stitching the other day and having some serious trouble holding the fabric and none of my frames were big enough to hold this project, so I went out over the weekend and bought a piece of dowling and exchanged the wood in my scroll frame for the new dowling and now it's so much easier to work with.

Great set up for stitching. Seems like the stitching would get done pretty fast that way. Lovely progress on her too! :applesauce:

Very pretty! When the fabric is large it can be a bit of a pain finding the right way to situate everything so you can stitch comfortably. Glad you found a way for it work for you :)

I usually stitch two handed on my projects (cards not always included) but I've found that this size is just too big to stitch two handed without a frame, it was really starting to get in the way, and it's quite heavy too after a while. The seat frame holds it all for me so it doesn't get in my way at all, I don't even touch the material now so it's staying a lot cleaner too. I forgot how much I love this frame! I just wish it was an inch taller!

Mitzy's discovered that he doesn't have to lay ontop of my projects to get attention while I stitch. This is his latest sleeping place. He still gets head scritches and I still get to stitch at the same time~! Two handed stitching means there's always a hand underneath the project, and the height is so I brush him everytime I move my lower hand.

Then, of course, he wanted to help me stitch...

:applesauce: Very nice stitching, you're making great progress. Glad you were able to find a way to get cozy....I love my lap frame. Although I tend to sit it on a desk instead of over my lap lol.
