All of the colors are very pretty but I would still just use the 2 or I would use 2 brighter yellow and green. The design is wonderful!!!!!!

Not done much on Resurrection, but I did do another of the non-cut minis -- this one uses Anchor variegated perle, but it's really not strongly variegated enough; the change is so gradual it looks as though I did the center in a light thread and the outside in a darker one on purpose! The spider's web filling works OK "on top" though it may look better in #12, a bit less bulky :-)

It does look a bit like you planned it out that way  It's a very deep colored red on the outside.. I  it

While it does look like you used two different shades of red, rather than variegated, it is really lovely. :applesauce: Are you going to redo it with a different thread for the spider web? I love it now.

I love it :) And I wouldn't have known it was variegated unless you'd said something, as it does indeed look well planned!

I'm trying out different combinations for all the little minis -- they'll make good gift-tags for Christmas, and they make a nice relaxing and non-challenging change from my larger projects when I'm finding it hard to concentrate!

That looks great! Hmm, I was looking them over trying to pick which one to start... that looks like an interesting one. :applesauce: I also like how you "arranged" your colours.

I did another mini last night, and decided to change the chart a bit while stitching, because I was using a lovely Threadworx shade which I have in #5 and stranded cotton -- unfortunately they don't do it in #8. So I took out some of the Kloster blocks in the center of the heart, and replaced them with Rhodes stitches done in stranded cotton:

I just  this shade -- I'm thinking of a design in this shade using some of the stitches from the book of Ukranian whitework DH got me :thinks:

 What's the name of the thread? It looks like it embodies the feeling of fall

The red 'Resurrection' is lovely...I just love  the deep red shades.

And as for the Threadworx heart, well I think the stranded floss in the same shade adds the right amount of texture to the Rhodes stitches.

this design needs a title too...how about Sunset Heart? :thinks:
It looks like the sky in a summers evening. 8)

Faith, the shade is Threadworx #1078 Pastel Bouquet; it's available in perle #5 and stranded cotton. Some shades they do in #8 as well, like the one that's used in Scotland the Brave.

Wendy, none of the minis have names, I'm afraid -- Resurrection is the dragonfly design I'm working on at the moment, but it's quite big and requires more concentration than I can manage right now, so I play truant and do minis instead :-). I like your name for the heart though!
