Oh, what a wonderful



I have been playing with colours. I had that bad headache and I couldn't concentrate on the patterns, so I took out my New Stitches and gave a try to the simplest patterns. I used my own colours, though. I managed to mess them up, too





They remind me of the thing we used to do when we were kids: colouring the blocks in our maths notebooks during boring lessons.
I really enjoyed stitching these. Will turn them into cards or pincushions, haven't decided yet. May do some more playing around with different colour schemes.

Agi - great experiments in colour. I think you are right, they'll make great pincushions. Would it work as a biscornu? (never having made one myself. )

Lovely mini's, the cat is adorable and the Squares look like a box of crayons Agi.
I found this blackwork pear freebie, didn't know what to do with the finished piece but found a hanger and tassel I picked up at a yardsale years ago for $.50 so here is the finished piece.
