Finished
Here they are:
Cecilia, the back isn't very interesting, they just have some text in backstitch with the recipient's name -- I whipstitched along the long sides, and used double running stitch along the short sides.
I'll post Ally Pally stash pictures in the General thread.

Still working my way through the thread, but just wanted to say your bookmarks are lovely. Such beautiful work, and such a nice sentiment.

Thanks Mabel. That makes sense. I've designed a bookmark which I'm hoping to stitch in the not too distant future and was just curious how you finished yours.
Yours are lovely, btw.
The recipients are going to be chuffed with them.

Before starting on the "stitching for my own pleasure" period I've promised myself
I thought I'd better finish a bookmark I started some time ago. This one will be mounted in a card bookmark, so no difficult finishing *phew* -- I started it for a young cousin but decided it was too browny and old for her, but I really like the pattern myself and didn't want to give up on it so here it s, for some unknown recipient
, stitched on 32ct opalescent Jazlyn (Silkweaver's Autumn Sunrise) using Carrie's stranded cotton in the shade Banana Split:

Wow! Those are so beautiful! Your hardanger is amazing. I've only just heard of that since joining, but it looks so interesting, and I love how your yellow tulip looks as if it's stained glass. Beautiful, beautiful work!
