I made an unusual card. The "fabric" is woven right on the card.
This one shows the colours better:

Excellent mini projects, everybody. Love that gothic alphabet, and the woven card is wonderful. Must remember that -- it's given me an idea for some fibres I've been wanting an excuse to buy from our local mill shop...

Thank you, everyone. The next experiment will be something similar but weaving over a cut out window - that might look even better

Actually, Serinde, I bought that thread in Scotland, both the blue wool and the shiny one. If I remember correctly, we visited loch Kathrin (sp?) and there was a huge wool shop - probably the shop of a manufacture or factory - where they were selling these little bags of sample threads. Perfect for this type of thing.
Oh, nice memories!!

That's what the Aberfoyle wool shop sells! That's it exactly! They are such wonderful little bags of stuff, but I never knew quite what I could do with them. Agi, you are a genius.

(You must have been up by Loch Katrine? Rob Roy and all that.)

Here are the cards I made for Market day, some time ago. 2 of them didn't sell, so I thought I would pass them along to whomever is doing the next round of charity cards.
