I had a lovely gentleman knock on my front door about 9pm on Tuesday night to hand deliver a couple of books I bought from the book depository site. The postie had delivered them to the wrong address.

I have to say my issue right now is what the postman HASN'T brought me. :x A month and a half waiting for my Sudberry Box from Crafter's Market, and it keeps saying it will be shipped in 4-7 days for the past 2 and half a weeks! And I've sent a half dozen e-mails but they won't reply, and when I call I get a message telling me to e-mail. :x

My rage right now is due to the fact I leave to Brasil in about 2 weeks, and the box was to be my mom's Christmas gift (with the ToS mounted on it).

Seven metres of 30ct linen band, 22 packs of mixed 24 and 26 sized needles and about 48 pewter reproduction buttons for the biscornu. Can you tell it's all for the workshop? @rotfl:

*has visions of Serinde sewing a 7-metre band sampler*

Did it work out with the Soie d'Alger from West End Embroidery?

I can't imagine how big a parcel seven meters of fabic is? I think I could drool over that no problem at all, or maybe just sit and hug it? Oh dear I think I need to get out a bit more! Good luck with it all Serinda, but a band sampler also sounds like an amazing piece of work Mabel.
Happy Stitching

Received my order from Vikki. I think I have enough to at least get started on my next project. By the way, does anyone know if it's save to use Thread Heaven with silk floss?

I have loved this design for ages and after getting yet another email from RUCraft offering 20% off orders how could I resist. It worked out at just under £24.00 which is the best price I have seen it at.It only took a few days to arrive.
I can see a battle between her and Henry VIII in the New Year.Which one should I start first?

Postman has been busy

Quilty: I would probably start with Fall Fairy, but then I love fairies and this one is a beautiful design.

Liz: What a cute sampler. Your friend is going to be so pleased with this. A delightful surprise.

 No, the sampler itself fits nicely on a third of a metre, leaving plenty of room for finishing. And YES! West End Embroidery came through. Fantastic!

And it's amazing how small 7 metres of band can be folded for postage purposes.

This little lot of stash actually arrived on Saturday but I was out and had to pick it up from the depot on Monday...

Four fat quarters of 25-count lugana fabric
- Light cream
- Dresden
- Wedgewood
- Ice blue

Half a dozen DMC flosses in various shades of blue, plus ecru, blanc and B5200

On pack of needles (sizes 24-26)

Two packs of Mill Hill glass seed beads (40020 and 60020) - both very pretty shades of blue.
