The dragonfly is so beautiful. :applesauce: :applesauce:
And Linda, thank you, your version looks better than mine, the button is indeed a lovely touch. I love the colour you have chosen, too. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

I only noticed this thread a few days ago so I went back to page one and I've had a wonderful time looking at all of these wonderful little gems! I'm so inspired! I'm definitely going to do some more small projects. There is something so cool about them. You all are fantastic artists. :applesauce:

Ive just been catching up with this thread, so many wonderful things!
I love the pot sticks, I did something very similar about a month ago when my daughters school asked us to plant things to sell in a shop in the local shopping center they took over for 2 days. I planted herbs and stitched labels for them, but then my son had his accident and the herbs died in the greenhouse. So now I unsure to do with the finished 3, and 2 unfinished ones.

heres the finished 3, made from ice lolly sticks and those wooden sticks you get instead of spoons for hot drinks in fast food places
Image

this is the one I made in desperation when my son announced at the last minute he needed a hanging basket for school and a spare strawberry plant is all I had

Although this one is also posted in my WIP thread. x

Wanda- what do you stick your aida to before sticking onto the stick?

This is one of my favourite threads to follow. All the "smalls" are so interesting, and I'm always astonished how much work and expertise can be packed into such little packages. :applesauce:  :applesauce:

It's not aida -- it!s plastic canvas, 14 count. I use it for Christmas decorations too.

I posted earlier that my best friend asked if I could make 10 sticks she could use to teach her granddaughter numbers. Here's the first stage . . .

And here's the finished product. I'm very pleased with the way they turned out!
