Wonderful work on the tea tray Mabel. I can't wait to see the finished result.

The hardanger is stunning! So beautiful. I can't spot a problem with it and am pretty clueless as to what to look for. So the only thing I could see was a green thread in among the gold in the top left corner, but seeing as it's all varigated thread that could be how it's meant to be!

Your tea tray material looks so delicate,hope you dont have to frog it to much if at all.

Further update on the tea tray cloth -- I'd hoped to finish the background but so much happening this weekend that I didn't manage. Oh well, still on schedule! A little worried that the last bit I did looks slightly darker than the rest. DH says he can't tell without a magnifier, and even if there were a light difference you wouldn't notice once the other colours are in, and I guess he's right -- anyway, I really don't want to frog that whole patch! So here's where I am now:
