I'm continuing to love all the mini's.
For all you lovers of Jane Austen, I'm sure you would agree with me that I'd rather be at Pemberley, Mr. Darcy's estate in
Pride and Prejudice. The fabrics I used are Rengency reproductions and I like to think they could have been Mr. Darcy's waistcoats. Pattern by The Sampler Girl worked in silk Mori by Kreinik.

Great sampler!
Just heard from my friend that her granddaughter, age 4, "loves all the rainbow colours" in the number sticks, and is already counting beans into little cups to match each number!
I may have to rethink doing an alphabet set . . . !

Wandatoo, that little girl could keep you
very busy!
I saw this frame at Micheal's and since I had a coupon for frames, two came home with me!

I decided to stitch mirroring motifs from Pelin Tezer's freebie "The Hunt" for them for now. The surface in only 3.5 by 3.5 inches so I'm going to keep my eye out for pretty little things to stitch and maybe change them out once in a while. Here's my first one done on Belgian linen with silk Mori.

That is so pretty. What a clever idea to do some smaller designs and switch them around now and then.

Love the frames for both your projects Raine, and the Pemberley looks good with that material.

You don't know the half ot it! She has twin siblings: brother and sister just seven months old! But my friend assures me she will save this set of 'learning tools' for everyone. Whew!!
The frame is lovely! I keep finding frames everywhere and have quite a stash -- but keep forgetting to use them. You have reminded me!

Not cross stitch but it is "stitching" I needed a bit of a break from the projects I have to concentrate on. Hubby's birthday party is right around the corner and I am busy with the organization and still trying to keep it a secret from him. So not time for deep concentration on my angel or Goofy. My daughter was talking about how she doesn't have any decorations for her house for Halloween and so I took 2 days and made her up a witch. Her favorite color is purple and I think she came out adorable. I have to find a few spiders and a frog and maybe a couple of purple stars to add decorations to her but for the most part she is done. Plan to do a green dressed one for my son.
She is 16inches tall. Sorry that the picture is a bit washed out I thought I had the flash off. After I get the decorations on her I will have another phote it should be better.

Well done! I love her collar. It looks like fringe? Did you somehow crinkle yarn for it?
