I'm ENGAGED!!!!

Ooooh I'm soooo happy, I just had to make a thread and share with you all! I'm engaged! *sits and stares at her pretty lickle ring* Wanna see it?
Isn't it sweet? I'm totally in love with it (And Chris, of course)! It's white gold which is brilliant as I NEVER wear yellow gold! And it's really small, I hate flashy rings. Plus, he managed to find one where the diamond doesn't jut out. I'm always knocking protruding stones out of rings, so I very rarely wear the things these days. I usualy just wear engraved bands, but with it being this size, it's just perfect!
we went and chose it together and after looking at all the expensive jewlery shops, the one that best suited me was in Argos! So he proposed to me on a bench in the town centre. Then we went for all you can eat chinese and tried updated facebook via his iphone which, as always, died on us
It's such a brilliant day! But...he had to go back to Doncaster tonight 
We're going to move in together at the end of the year when both our leases let out, but we wanted to do this now. So drinks on me at the stash and grab.

Awwwwwwwww congrats to you and Chris! The ring is gorgeous and you sound so happy that I've teared up!! LOL imagine that especially as I've been married for 34 yrs on the 10th. 
And that's a very pretty ring. You didn't have to say it was from Argos!
