An English teacher's AOYs :) - One Done

I have been planning to do some AOY designs from the London series for a year now. I got the charts from Rosemary last year, and I even took one of them all kitted up to the UK with me last summer but never got around to starting it, not ever since.
Seeing Rose's wonderful AOY finally made me take a step and I have started the Big Ben. :)
I simply love how this forum can be an inspiration!

Two days' work:

I didn't have all the colours in my stash that I would need, so had to change them but I hope this will not make it worse. For example, for the white I would need light mauve and mauve, but I had none, so I am using grays.

Great to see these being stitched again. If you need any of the colours at all just let me know which numbers and a rough amount as I have loads of the AOY colours.

Forgot to say that as an avid fan of AOY I love to see different colours used or different parts of patterns used because this individualises the picture for the stitcher and makes each one unique. That is also my excuse if (heaven forbid) I make little errors in my stitching. I say "this picture is now unique to me" my OH laughs at me but then spend a little time looking for the difference which is usually too hard for him to find because it is only an odd stitch or two that is in the wrong place.

I finished this sometime last week, but it took me some time to gather the energy to take a photo.
I have some other stuff to stitch now, but more is to follow...
