Samplers for me. I can't get enough of them. Especially subversive ones. I hoarde them with the hopes of stitching them all and covering my walls in them all - LOL!

Lately I've been drawn to beach scenes or seascapes.

I have trouble resisting magazines. I've currently got a £10 hobbycraft voucher burning a hole in my pocket, which I intend to spend this week, and the three magazines I'm the most fond of are around £4 each... I know I won't stitch anything new from a magazine for a while, because I have a to-do list long enough to last at least a year which I'm sticking to really rigidly because it's the only way I'm going to get through everything I really want to do. On the other hand, I love magazines so very much!

Right now it's butterflies. Last year it was brightly colored birds. Color seems to a recurring weakness for me.

Dragons. Any mythical critter, really, but especially dragons. Wyverns are probably my fave - I suppose not really dragons, but hey...

I love anything to do with nature. But I have some great city scenes to stitch up in my stash. In my designs right now I have been creating bookmarks that are in various tile designs. There are some great tiles - like you would use for a bathroom or kitchen or floor - that inspire me. Sometimes it is just a matter of sitting at my computer and playing around till I come up with something I like. The wolves that I am stitching right now are nestled in the woods. So anything in landscapes, nature, animals I love.
