Brighter Tomorrows - Finished Sept 19th, 2010

Yeahhhh I'm excited, I was able to finish my picture for my friend. For those of you who may not have seen the other thread, my friend picked out this design for her aunt who is having breast cancer surgery 
. Hopefully all will go well with that and she will be past all this in the near future.
About the actual design...it was a kit. The chart called for all brown back-stitching and brown/black lettering. I didn't like it- I thought it was too dull and too morose. So I decided to brighten it up by doing the back-stitch in colors appropriate to the flowers, leaves, and butterfly. Additionally I changed the lettering to colors from the flowers and did the center verse in 2 strands vs. 1 that was called for so it would stand out more. Then I personalized it from my friend

I'm happy with the outcome and had fun working on this for the last 2 weeks.
