Thankyou everyone for your kind comments! My husband does get a bit fed up with all the material, cross stitch squares and me using my sewing machine when he is trying to watch tv!!!

No I do not stitch all the squares myself (takes me forever to stitch even 1 square - but talented ladies from all over the world donate squares and send them to me to make into a quilt.

I think we have had over 800 cross stitch squares donated and 45 quilts have been made since 2008! I really enjoy making the quilts and sending them off to the children, it is an amazing feeling..

That's beautiful. What a great charity for which to stitch and sew.
