Im considering stitching something for my childrens teachers this xmas and I thought it would be nice to include their classes. Instead of class numbers they have names my son is a Comet and my daughter is a Turtle so Im after little motifs of a comet and a turtle. I looked in my mags but could only find shooting stars and the turtle I found was not quite what I was after. I only need little simple motifs. I was wondering if anyone had any charts or knew of somewhere on the internet.

Mabel did a turtle and put it in this section. At the top of the page you will see a post titled Sharing patterns to which we have the copyright. Look in there you might have to tweak it a bit but it is pretty cute. Sorry cant seem to help with the comet.
