I started this about a month ago and it it going to be a Christmas present for my sister who loves Paris!

I'm really enjoying stitching this piece. The backstitch isn't too tedious, and I find it much better and easier to do it as I go along, rather than at the end

I'm having a lot of fun with this piece and it's stitching up quite quickly due to the half stitches which make up most of the background. The lady is nearly finished now, so here's a photo to show you all where I'm up to:
