Well this is my first ever kit I've attemped it's soon to be about half way done, (this is the left side of it right now) and I didn't have a lot of table space to get a good pic so it looks more lumpy then it really is lol

Anyway I'm really proud of this because as a kid I always wanted to learn crafts like this, my mother made some amazing stuff, but I am legally blind (I can see some but almost nothing if it's more then a few feet away) and have a muscular disorder so it's very slow going for me and perhaps more challenging, but I decided it was worth giving it a try and I'm really loving it so far. And anyway as a child no one thought I could do this kind of stuff, my mother even has a craft business she named after me where she sells things at craft shows, but I was always just in charge of organizing all her supplies or putting her booth up in a nice presentable way, so to me this is a HUGE deal that I can do this at all.

I love watching this come together, because as someone who can't really see and appreciate all the fine details in my everyday life suddenly I'm the one creating those details and making sense out of this huge mass of symbols. Anyway I'm done bragging now hehe

I've been working on this since the first week of June, but I got really frustrated at a few points and would stop for a week or so, however joining this forum has shown me more websites to feed this new addiction and now I realize I have all these options (the michael's i bought the kit from didn't have much selection) and I want to hurry up and buy new stuff too!

My girlfriend says I'm going to be the crazy lady on the corner with 10 cats with my house full of craft stuff with I grow up. I just can't figure out what's wrong with that just yet hehe.

This is a lovely kit, is it the Dimensions one as this is on my wish list so it is great to see you stitching it. You should be soooooo proud of yourself and I am looking forward to updates but just enjoy this great hobby
