Help - does coke wash out of aida ok?

Just opened a can of coke and stupidly managed to splash some of my white aida. The fabric is for a HAED design and so I haven't stitched on it yet - and probably won't for awhile.
Just hoping that it will wash out ok once the design is finished. Or will it simply not show either once I've stitched over the marks?

Why don't you wash it now, then you'll know weather the coke stain has gone

I could I was just hesitant about washing it before it was finished!

It won't be a problem washing it before you've stitched on it.

I had that problem many years ago. It came out well with washing.

Add a touch of napisan to the water if the coke has dried. I've never had a problem but I know if you leave it too long or wash in hot water the stain can set.

Be sure to finish the edges before you wash it so it does not frey to much.
