HAED - Hmpf!
I'd never heard of HAED until I joined this forum, I had to get one and this lovely owl caught my eye, I think I jumped in the deep end choosing this design maybe but I love it so much! Here is what he will look like, one day :D

and this is the tiny start I've made, about 5-6 hours worth of stitching :)

and in relation to the size of my fabric

All of this will be going on hold shortly though while I stitch and make this tea cosy from the coats crafts website for my Nan's Christmas pressie :)

Here's my progress on the tea cosy so far! Haven't had as much time as I'd like so I'll have to get my skates on now to get it done for Christmas!

I'm changing some of the colours a bit as I don't normally use Anchor and there's not a shop near me selling it so I'm kind of making do but I think it will be fine :D

 This is going to be so pretty! Great work! :applesauce: Are you noticing any difference with the Anchor threads from what you normally use? I've been thinking of trying out the Sullivan's brand floss instead of using DMC because they're cheaper. I've heard Sullivan's doesn't fray as much as DMC does.

I can't say I've noticed any real difference to be honest, I've just always used DMC since I started stitching so I have lots of colours whereas I had no Anchor threads until I bought a few to do this, could have tried converting them really but never mind :D

I think I will be sticking with DMC as my favourite brand though, just because I'm so used to it!
