Hi all,

This isn't really a SAL as I finished this one a while ago, but have just framed it and wanted to show it off



Despite me having cross stitched for years, this is actually the first one I've got round to framing (I've always been better at starting kits than finishing them, but this lovely forum is helping me to concentrate on finishing some ). And the frame was from the pound shop, bargain

I stitched this for my other half, who loves to watch the football with a beer (and so do I), and when I saw it, it reminded me of him straight away so I had to stitch it!

Nice job! I had a good giggle at the "pound shop" - I'm assuming that's like our Dollar Stores here in the US...

Thanks everyone, it was a nice one to stitch as well, blending on the hedgehog but I quite like that (in moderation...) because it gives a nice effect.

It's great when you see a design that means something to you and it sounds very appropriate for your hubby - so I hope you'll be hanging it above his side of the sofa!!

Looks great. Nice framing choice, BTW. IMHO, sometimes matting and a too ornate frame detract from the work.
