Crossstitchforum - A FREE forum for Cross Stitchers

I'm trying to find where I can get a photo transferred to a graph so I can do a cross stitch portrait. Can anyone help me please? I have some software that is supposed to do this but I can't really make it work!! This is my first time using a forum of any kind so if this isn't the sort of thing I should be asking, my apologies in advance.

Thank you so much for replying. I shall give them a try now. I have a lovely photo of my daughter's cat who sadly died last year age 21 and I have promised her that I will do a cross stitch portrait for her if I can find a way. Fingers crossed anyway. I've never used a forum before, but it's great isn't it. Bit daunting though seeing some of the amazing things people have done, being a bit of an amateur myself.
