Posting a thread here as I hope to be sharing lots of progress with you over coming weeks - mostly small projects knowing me! Thanks for looking!
Here is the butterfly I showed in it's beginning on the General board - halfway there now, plan to get this one finished today
I wasn't sure if I liked the colours at first, now I love them!

Looking good! I like the candy-cane effect (I know that's usually red and white but it does remind me of them

I get a candy cane feel from it too, Mabel
But that's because my favorite candy canes are the Hawaiian Punch ones and some of them come in red and green
The design is looking great!

I hope the festive butterfly will look nice on one of the quilts, I am actually really happy now with how it turned out! I posted this on the other thread, but anyone interested, the thread used is Carrie's Creations 'Holly Days'
