Now that my Charlie'a Ark is all but done apart from back-stitching I have moved onto a new medium-sized project to do alongside my HAED. Even though I have charts bursting out of my draw I saw this one on Ebay and had to buy as I just love the colours. Not sure who will be the recipient but I just HAD to stitch it One of my friends has a little girl so I think I'll do it for her.

Oh that is nice! Chris and I both love it. The big design is beautiful, but that close up is just fantastic! You've made such great progress and it'll be loved by whomever ends up with it!

They are highly annoying as they keep snagging, splitting and snapping But every time I get frustrated I just sit back and look at the overall effect of what I've stitched and it soooooo worth it.

I have some Thread Heaven in my draw that I had forgotten all about till some-one on here mentioned about getting some. Going to try that with the next metallic section.

lovely butterflies, metallic threads are a real pain used them on bugs bunny art deco and they kept splitting, just had to keep re-threading, thankfully they give you plenty thread

Rainbow gallery petite treasure braids are wonderful metallics to work with, but they are more expensive than usual.
