I started my first HAED project, Angel with Iris by Nadia Strelkina, on 1/15/11. A picture of this piece can be found at: http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index. ... ts_id=6901" target="_blank"

As of today, 2/22/11, I've finished 70% of the first page, just about reaching to the top of the Angel's face. This has been slow-going because it's all confetti, but the effect is worth it. Other pages will have large sections of solid colors, so progress may jump as I hit those. Altogether there are 42 pages, but since this is an oval, a few have little or no stitches. Here's a picture taken on my iPhone:

I finished the first page of my Angel with Iris today, 2/27/11. Since it's an oval, I started top center, which is actually page 3 of the chartpack. From here, I'll do pages 2, 1, 4, and 5, then move down the design, so it will be a while before we see the rest of her face. However, if the forehead and one eye are any indication, I'm really going to like this! Here's my work:
