Hi, I really want to do a wedding sampler for my best friends 1st wedding anniversary. I was heavily pregnant when she got Married last year and was to busy decorating my Daughters bedroom with cross stitches that I didn't have a chance to do one for her.
I need to have it framed by the 1st of May so it can't be massive. I've got a lovely wedding sampler but it won't suit them so I'm looking for one with no bride and groom on.
Can someone please help me out with a chart?
Thanks to all who reply in advance.

If you like blackwork, I just published a blackwork weding sampler this morning
HERE. You could then change the colour to suit the bride and groom...

When I married my OH my daughter stitched us a sampler that had a large bow at the bottom in the colour of my dress. The script reads "To commemorate the marriage of Names and Date" She found a font that she liked and charted it herself (I think). Anyway when it is not suitable to have a bride and groom on it people usually choose a border in colours that are liked by the couple, flowers, maybe rings, and feature their names and the date much more prominently than in ones that have all the "normal" wedding trappings.

Kell put her design on whilst I was typing. Looks great to me, great minds think alike.

Thanks Kell, I'm not into blackwork. Your design is lovely though. Thanks

I like The Sweetheart Tree designs. I got the kit, which comes with linen and a little silver charm which is different depending on which one you get. These are very old fashioned samplers with flowers.

If you absolutely want to have it done for their 1st May anniversary this may be too big, but Debbie Cripps does a wedding anniversary chart
here, you could always add the couple's names and the wedding date - or something else appropriate to them - at the top of the sampler. (No-one would have any excuse for forgetting an anniversary or not knowing what an appropriate gift might be!)
