A member on a Norwegian crafting forum I frequent is looking for a web site where you can make a chart from a photo, do any of you have a site you would recommend?
(I remember this was a topic a few weeks back, but I'm not able to find the thread....

)

No I don't have any to recommend but I would advise caution with using a site like that to avoid copyright laws. Hopefully it's a program you can download from the site and put your own pics into.

hmm... the photo she wants to convert is one of her daughter taken by herself, that wouldn't be a problem, would it...? Or did you mean that those behind the site could spread the chart....?

I am not sure if she wants to chart the photo herself or if she would like to send the photo and have it done for her.
I have used this site to have them create me a pattern and they are very good. THe motor I am currently working on is one of there and the chart is a dream. They also give you a preview of the chart before finish so if you need them to change anything you can.

I used a site called
http://www.PictureCraftwork.com" target="_blank to do the chart I am currently stitching. It's the only one I've tried so I don't really have anything to compare it to. You get to fiddle around with how big you want the finished work, amount of stitches, number of colors, etc.
