I've checked all the stickies and I can't seem to find the link I'm looking for. I sent a couple pieces of fabric and some floss to a friend of mine. I'm going to attempt teaching her cross stitch over the computer.

There was a wonderful link with stitch-by-stitch instructions, with computerized photos. This link also showed (in dotted lines) where to take the thread in the back as well as on the front. Can any of you help me? I've been looking through all kinds of online links and can't find the 1 page I'm searching for!

It shows all sorts of stitches but her diagrams use evenweave fabric.. so if you sent your friend aida to play with, she might get confused with the extra hole in the middle.

I'll keep looking for one that uses aida. The stitch diagrams on the DMC website are a bit lacking..

Yes, I sent her aida, I thought that would be easier to start her with. I still can't find the one site I'm looking for...
