It's only a mini but I had a request to show it, thank you Rosemary for your interest
This is for my Mum for Mother's Day ..... here's how it should look!
And this is my work so far
(Hardly worth showing

I'm a bit scared on this one as it has french knots and I've not done them before.

French knots make a design look great.. but they can be a pain to master.. good luck with them!

Very cute your mum will love it!
I always had trouble doing French knots, then one day I got a scarp bit of aida and scrap cotton, went to YouTube and searched French knots. I then copied what they were doing in the video clip pausing it as and when needed. It worked as now I can do them very easily. Give it a try

That is going to be so adorable!!! Don't worry over the french knots they are not as hard as everyone says I personally love them!!!!!

It is really a gorgeous kit and you have made a good start on it. Don't worry about the french knots - they are easy to do.

Wow, thanks for showing us it is lovely. Do what Paul said, practice on scrap and then you will not be so nervous when you do them on the project.

Thank you for your kind comments. Here is an update .... not had much time to stitch this weekend but I've got everything I can done, awaiting the rest of the colours then to battle with the french knots
