anybody got any ideas for sheep cross stitch
i have seen some somewhere ,cannot remember where
being a part time sheperd ,with working sheepdogs and texels and scottish blackface
i'd love some charts to do of landscape sort of scenes with these things in them i think the texels would be hard to find ,so probably scottish black face
if anyone has seen any or comes across any i'd love the link
thank you :D

I think that the only sheep cross stitch that I might have is an alphabet. Do you want me to look for you?

I found this one!

The landscape looks very Scottish to me!

There are a few others on the Sew and So website, I just did a search for "sheep". John Clayton has done a few for Heritage Crafts.

There were some in Mary Hickmott's New stitches mag a while back. Some were blackwork sheep ones and two that I remember were of a Scottish hillside with sheep on it. They were postcard sized.
If you are keen, I can check if I still have them.

Don't know if this is something you would consider, but happened to spot it just a few minutes ago and thought of this topic

I think Border Fine Arts did turn some of their designs into cross stitch, mostly Collies I think. I'm sure one was called Jock's Pride or something similar. They are probably retired by now, but it may be worth keeping an eye on ebay as I'm sure that's where I've seen them! I think they were Anchor kits.

I found one! It says James Herriott collection, so might be more Yorkshire? I have no idea with breeds of sheep! Called "Spring Lambing" about halfway down the page.

I still like the first one I found the best though!

Did you find a sheep chart? Here are a couple of charts/kits to consider:
Sheep
Cottage with sheep

Good luck on your search.
