sewing fabric to roller frame

Hi all,

This is probably a silly question but I was wondering if there is a best way to sew my fabric to the fabric on the roller? My current project is just taped and stapled onto a no sew roller but I am finding the masking tape annoying.

Thanks

What I've done is to hot glue a strip of velcro to my rod and then basted the matching half onto my fabric. It works well for me.

I sew mine on

but the velcro idea sounds great

I use a loose tacking stitch. I roll over the top and under the bottom so the bottom of my work where it touches stuff is protected by being roll in on itself. If you roll over the top it gives a slightly slanted surface which is nicer to work on than totally flat IMO.

You can machine it on too, if you feel brave, but I must admit I tack it on loosely before I machine.
