I'm now in a rush to get this uber girly birth sampler done for my cousin, who is having her baby end of June/Start of July. More time than I originally thought but still I got carried away and this kit is LARGE!!!
Look at the goodies that came with this Kit!!!!!
The metallics are for the FULL rainbow and beads!!! We all know I'm not the greatest of bead persons (god help me when I start my Mirabilia) but I'm actually looking forward to this!!
I can not even begin to describe how much fun this was...
I frogged a bit on the orange band but didnt notice until later and I decided to amend it slightly, but I'm not entirely happy with it being thicker. Might have to go back and have a play with it!

That is a fab sampler and a great start! I might show it to my friend who has a baby on the way - sure it would be fine for a boy or a girl!!!!

Thanks everyone!!! I'm currently working on the horses backside lol!!
The thread is all madeira which I'm loving and the thread cards came with the kit but I'm enjoying using them so much I may have to use them as a template when I'm done for other WIPs!!

We have 8 weeks to go!!!! This is where I was at this morning before I got suck in...
Not far I keep getting distracted by other shiny things but sat down for the majority of today and....
Frankly I'm sick of looking at the back end of this horse lol!! Once I get down the length of leg I'll start the back stitch and beading in that area then I have a place to start the metallic rainbow!
Day off work tomorrow but I think I'll work on something else as I really am sick of this horses ass!!!
