Noah's Ark (finished May 3)

I'm stitching a small Noah's Ark. I don't have a picture of what it will look like when it's done, just the pattern, so I can't post that. There will be a rainbow above it, and the words "Endure the rain and behold the rainbow". I still have to finish the ark and backstitch most of it. I'm stitching on 14 count aida.

I like him alot too, mainly because of the eyes. I could not get those straight for anything! I tried several times, and finally gave up. I figured it just gives him "character" LOL.

I got more done today: a little more backstitching, the roof, and started on the rainbow. I'm going to push for a finish tomorrow, as I want to frame it and give it to a lady who has a 2 year old with cancer. He's already been through several brain surgeries to remove tumors, and they keep coming back. He has a very aggressive cancer, but he is a fighter.
His mom was very discouraged today and said that she wished God would send her a rainbow, just some little sign that He's listening and still there. I realized my ark and rainbow are meant for her. I want her to have her rainbow as quick as possible.

Sheila, this is coming along great! Just read the post with the update and brought more than a tear to my eyes! I'm convinced that you were meant to stitch this up at just this time so that you could gift it to that lady. I hope you are able to finish it quickly and that it will definitely know that God is listening to her!
