I think I had posted some of these before. The photos aren't much better but I'm getting there. First I have a few pictures of my assistant who makes cross stitching a challenge:
This is the Spring Fairy I just completed and the beginning of the Autumn Fairy (light threads on light fabric don't show up well but it will give you an idea)
and these are some that I completed. I think they were in my previous post but here they are again.
and I'm going to start working on my grandso
Woodland Fairy
Night Fairy
Spider Web Fairy (middle of a triptych)
and

than taking these photos!
Carole
Just started working on my grandson. Once it looks like it could be human, I will post that.

Thank you and Laverne thanks you. She is a real ham. The minute the camera is out she is there. Another challenge in my ongoing quest to take photos.
Seven of the patterns for the afghan are from a Stoney Creek Pattern Book called Fairy Manor (Book 173)
Woodland Fairy is one of them. I don't remember when I got it. Back in the day when there were several Needlework stores that carried a lot of pattern books that you could browse through.

What a cute cat. And very photogenic.
Well done on all your finishes, they look great. And good start on your new one.
Congrats on getting the pics done. And I've found that when having light threads on light fabric, you really either some good sunshine or a flourescent light, or just a really bright light. Well done on taking the photos.

I was going to say the woodland fairy looks really like a stoney creek style (I did all things bright and beautiful from them)
I love your night fairy! will you be doing the day fairy to go with it?

yes. I have that pattern too. And then two more of Teresa Wentzler's for the bottom two corners. And another similar to the Spider Web Fairy. Now that I have been seeing some of the other Fairy patterns that are being done I'm thinking I will have to start another afghan just for them.

If you send me your address I would be glad to send you this book when I am done. I am sure I won't use it again. I think I have one more after this one and then you are welcome to it. Its kind of a mess though but I think still readable.

Carole, they are all wonderful and just gorgeous. Your assitant is pretty cute too, bit help aren't they.
Madam keeps rushing at me and shoving me with her front paws - she wants this chair as its near the heater !!!! Well she can't have it yet. Ooppps now she is sittting in the middle of the floor with her back to me, very upright, tail curled neatly around and very much on her dignity.

What lovely work! And I have to say, I have a couple of furry black feline helpers... I love them and their help to pieces, but I am forever picking hair out of my work. It's obvious I encourage them, as when I'm finished with a project, most of my time is spent making it hair free!

You cat is lovely and I just love the way she 'helps' you? I think it's great that she likes having her photo taken my cat I have to sneak upon with the camera or else she hides
The fairies are lovely, please will you post of pic of the whole afghan when it's finished?
