My first HAED project attempt

Post by XstitchLB »

I love the Heaven and Earth designs but have not build up the courage to try one until now, I have decided to do Pegasus and the Muses by Scott Gustafson

I'm just waiting on my fabric now

Beautiful choice. I'm curious about your fabric too. :)

Nice choice - I look forward to your updates!

Don't be scared - they are just big but not particularly difficult. No fractional stitches or blended threads. Lots of confetti stitches at times but if you alternate stitching the confetti areas with the background or less detailed areas, I find that helps a lot!

Jobelan 28ct Forget Me Not Blue

I've looked through the pages there are a lot of spots where there are large areas of the same color so hopefully it won't be too bad, just going to take ages hehe.

well I think I have changed my mind on the first HAED I'm going to do, although I really love this project, I have been looking at the gallery updates for awhile and I fell in love with one called "Black Knight" (months ago) but it said retired by it, I didn't think I would be able to get a copy of it, but I contacted the company and they said they could sell it to me even though it was retired   so now I'm just waiting for the copy 8)
