This project has been a UFO for quite a while - my sister bought me the pattern and kitted it up for me several years ago, and it was before I had ever worked on evenweave or used variegated threads. I found it very intimidating at the time, and stashed it away after starting it. I just came across it and decided to finish it up, and found that since I am now more experienced with evenweave and hand-dyed / variegated threads, it is not a difficult pattern at all! So I have finally finished! The pattern is "Fair Daffodil" by Blackbird Designs and it is stitched on 30 count linen from R&R in "Rook", using Gentle Art Sampler Threads. Portions of the design are over 2 and portions are over 1. I am glad to finally have this one finished!!
