Been working on this for about a week now and so far I'm really enjoying it. There's quite a few colour changes but as a lot blend in with each other it looks great - quite different to my last SAL where it was mainly blocks of colour.

A good proportion of the pattern are half stitches but the stitches vary in number of threads, from a single thread to five! Not come across this before. There's also combined colour stitches which really make a difference in my opinion. Backstitch-a-plenty in this design but it does a lot more straightforward and not as fiddly as Paris Adventures. I'm planning to do the backstitch as I go along so I don't have it all to do at the end.

Here is how it will look at the end (hopefully!)...

...and this is what I've done so far:

Not a great photo I'm afraid - shaky hand holding my phone!

This is a great design. I love the colors and the feeling that it has. Sounds like it will be interesting to do also with the different stitches and number of threads, giving it a texture as well. I will be very interested in your updates. Good start too. :applesauce: :applesauce:

That is a beautiful design. The variance in the number of threads is strange - I just had one like that and it was crazy!

Can't wait to watch your progress!
