Wedding Gift

Post by nettie »

http://direct.hobbycraft.co.uk/products ... 314190.htm

This is the first of my rotation pieces. It is the one titled To Have and To Hold. This is a gift for OH's cousin who got married at the end of April. I had intended this as their wedding gift but I bought this two years ago when they announced the date and then couldn't find the kit when I wanted to stitch it. After a sort out a couple of weeks ago I found it but I swear I checked the folder it was in when I looked originally!

I started it last night and I intend to work on it until next Thursday. I am not home on Friday evenings so I will pick up the next one in my rotation on the Saturday!

I hate when I do that as well! At least you found it. I think it will be well worth the wait.

So after a week this is the progress I think I've done quite well considering I wasn't feeling very demotivated lately!

I agree with tiffstitch that when the colors are similar its hard sometimes to gauge progress, but I think you have done quite a bit for getting started. :applesauce: I am looking forward to your updates.
