A friend bought me a graph at a flea market, it has the colors printed on the fabric to stitch over, but Is missing the directions (should I stitch the WHOLE design, or only certain parts? also missing a chart indicating what floss colors to use). It is a beach scene, I took a picture of it that I can email anyone who may have information about it. Tag says Erica Wilson Needleworks, thanks,
Lora

Well it's been a while since I did a printed graph. But from what I remember, you stitch in all the areas that have been printed.
I would do full crosses unless there is a big distinction between the foreground and the background, then I may want to do the background in half crosses.
If there is no floss list, you'll definitely want to pick out all your colors first, maybe do some test stitching on scrap material to see if the colors are working. One of the most difficult parts (for me) in creating a chart are getting the colors right.
Don't forget to backstitch any areas that look like they need defining.
Hope it goes well and share some pics with us if you can and we can help you out all along the way. You can start a SAL in the Stitch a Long section so we can follow along and answer your questions.

Here's what I found with a quick Yahoo search of Erica Wilson Needleworks

Send them an email and tell her the instructions and floss key is missing.
