Apparently I can only count to 5!

I got some lovely tips here about gridding the fabric and that's helped some but I would still get lost.
Today I told my stitching program to mark the grid in blocks of 5 and now it's much easier for me!
Who knew I could only count to 5?!
Edit to clarify that I
was using blocks of 10.

The same problem seems to have hit 2 of us but for me it was counting to 2 today which threw everything out.
Hope your new gridding will help

Hope you didn't lose a lot squirrel. Seems like I don't always get counting to 1 right all the time.

Is that when stitching 2 over 2? I have that same issue.

What is "counting"?

I grid everything I do but I still get lost, too.
I checked one of my exams last week, I did some funny mistakes like forgetting to multiply something by 4 or changing "-5" to "5" and things like that...
So you are not alone!

It's good to know I'm not alone.

I bought some highlighters today that should help me mark off what I've completed

They are clickable, like an ink pen. They're pretty cool, you can see the end closing up when you click it so that it doesn't dry up.
I found them at Staples. Pentel brand: Handy-line S, Retractable & Refillable. But I don't remember seeing any refills. I got purple and green, there was also orange and one other color I can't remember.
