Hello there!
So, in the middle of my WIP, something came up:
My dear niece is getting married in five weeks... and I really want do stitch something for her and her fiance.
I received the pattern for this:

I think it's from a kit by Janlynn, a little modified.
I'm going to stitch it in blue.
Already started, actually - but still to early to send pictures...
Wish me luck!

Thank you!
I really don't know how long it will take... hopefully not very long. As for the frame, my favorite shop does it quickly. As for the stitching... :thinks: we shall see.

(But even if I'm a little late - it's still OK.)

Thank you all!
Here's my update for today:

Image

Today was a little special, however - I had lots of stitching time... we'll see how it goes on.
Anyway, I'm out of the blue thread  - have to buy some more, I hope tomorrow (in the meantime, the poppy field is always there...)

:applesauce: Great progress. Once you get the rest of the thread this is going to move quickly. But fast or not, it is really pretty.

Best of luck with some quick stitching! I made this for a friend of mine for her wedding, although the pattern was a little different.

I think the blue is a great idea! Hang in there with the star and square borders - the filligree will go more quickly.

Katie  - it's the same pattern, although a little modified.
I'm doing only the dark blue, so the inner triangles will be more like paper cutouts.
Also, in the middle of the star I'm just going to put the names of the couple and the marriage date, so it will be a little lighter, airier, than the original.
