Hi All,
I am new to the forum, but hope you Guys can help.
I enjoy counted cross stitch and recently ordered a Dimensions Gold Kit - which I am now informed is discontinued - and so cannot have the order filled
Is there somewhere that we can purchase discontinued charts or kits, or is it a case of have a good old hunt around and see what old stock outlets may have?? I thought someone on the forum may know a good place for me to start my hunt.

Hello and welcome. Can't help you either, but perhaps you could "google" the name of the kit you want and it will show up somewhere. I am always surprised at what a search like that reveals.

what kit are you after? I have a small stash of discontinued kits and if I have it we can organise something. I can also check the stores around here as some of them stock some pretty old stuff.

You may well be able to get hold of it second hand some place like Ebay. Or if you can't, try contacting the publisher - you never know, they might have one that they can send to you!

Mystonique I am looking for the kit/ chart for the Dimensions 'Hummingbird Wreath', I live in the UK and have had no luck tracking one down here yet!? I am still searching via the net as advised - thanks for your kind offer I appreciate it. I am really enjoying cross stitching and have found this forum a wealth of information for newbies like me!!

I have ordered off another UK firm only to have the order cancelled and my money refunded. There is one on eBay but it is very expensive (more than this one!) Because it is discontinued it is proving elusive ....

BusyB.. thats what I was thinking as well. But no luck here. The clearanced stitch kits- sometimes theres a bunch, sometimes its slim pickings. This time it was slim pickings.

I haven't seen it at my stores but I'll keep an eye. I'm always searching through clearance aisles.

I know. I checked ours the other day and they didn't have much either.

the other option is to go on forums like this and
ask if anyone has worked the kit and will sell you the chart
its just a thought!

There are a fair few of these kits for sale on the Internet.

Best way to search is type in what you are looking for into google but don't press search yet at the very top of the page click on "shopping" then search it will just list each site that has it for sale and how much.
Much quicker and easier.

I have ordered this the Hummingbird Wreat twice now from two UK companies who no longer have it. I also contacted Wilton Industries who bought Dimensions - and asked if they had the design archived - could I just purchase the Chart from them. Due to copyright this is not a possibility came their polite and very speedy response.
I shall continue to search a while longer before I capitulate and buy the one currently selling on e-bay for £50ish
Presently I am working on a John Clayton Panel: Sea Hollies. Its a Heritage kit, I am loving it but not enjoying the squished up (whole) half stitches......slippery lil' devils!!
